London NVC Men’s Group

An evening circle in North London for men who want to meet each other through the awareness of needs.

For almost seven years I’ve co-hosted the NVC Online Men’s Group, and since November 2025 I’ve also been hosting the group face to face in London. My aim is to co-create spaces where men can find shared reality, togetherness, support and presence: to share what is alive, what needs mourning or celebrating, or simply to be witnessed.

Together we explore life through the awareness of needs, among people who share the experience of identifying as men. We look at the relationship dynamics in our lives, what we are living in the moment, and the needs underneath.

What Happens in an Evening

  • Arriving: a short meditation.
  • Check-in: a round so everyone is heard.
  • Skill practice: one practice of an NVC skill.
  • Empathic listening: a longer sharing practice in pairs or small groups.

We often have a theme for the evening, and anything alive in the room is welcome too.

Days in Nature

A summer day out with the NVC men’s group.

On occasion, often in summer, we spend a full day together a little outside London. We mix NVC practices and time hanging out with other connecting practices, which might include hiking, breathwork or a swim.
