London NVC Men’s Group
An evening circle in North London for men who want to meet each other through the awareness of needs.
For almost seven years I’ve co-hosted the NVC Online Men’s Group, and since November 2025 I’ve also been hosting the group face to face in London. My aim is to co-create spaces where men can find shared reality, togetherness, support and presence: to share what is alive, what needs mourning or celebrating, or simply to be witnessed.
Together we explore life through the awareness of needs, among people who share the experience of identifying as men. We look at the relationship dynamics in our lives, what we are living in the moment, and the needs underneath.
What Happens in an Evening
- Arriving: a short meditation.
- Check-in: a round so everyone is heard.
- Skill practice: one practice of an NVC skill.
- Empathic listening: a longer sharing practice in pairs or small groups.
We often have a theme for the evening, and anything alive in the room is welcome too.
Days in Nature

A summer day out with the NVC men’s group.
On occasion, often in summer, we spend a full day together a little outside London. We mix NVC practices and time hanging out with other connecting practices, which might include hiking, breathwork or a swim.

Testimonial
“I really love the NVC men’s group. I think Olivier facilitates it brilliantly.
I feel safe, I feel relaxed, I feel like people really open up and they can be themselves, I can be myself.
He’ll really tune into what people are saying and go that extra mile to make them feel deeply understood. The invitations that he makes often lead to something really beautiful happening: some deeper moment of connection or self-expression, or a man feeling supported in a way that maybe he didn’t even realise he would feel touched by.
So I feel moved and inspired and really safe in the way that Olivier facilitates.”
